Collages are such fun to create! Rather than working with colored papers, I enjoy mimicking the colors I see in nature by mixing colors myself. I cover white paper with my unique colors and I cut elements from those painted papers. The result is a unique work that illustrate moments in time with accuracy of color and light. These leaves over the water are each hand colored, hand cut and arranged. The title Infinite Greens comes from the sense of being surrounded by color in Summer. Each winter, it’s hard to recall the greens that once grew, and every Summer I am amazed at the brightness of color that seems to embrace us.
